Today is my birthday and because I absolutely love the fair and always look forward to it, we figured today would be a great day to enjoy the N.C. State Fair as a family. We took Jude to the fair last year, but at that time he wasn't even 5 months old so he wasn't really able to interact or enjoy himself very much. This year he loved the fair! We all enjoyed people watching and eating all of the good foods that come along with the fair. Jude was even able to ride a few rides this year! (the height requirement for a few of the rides was 30" and that's exactly how tall Jude is currently.) Below are some pictures of Jude having fun riding the rides at the fair:
The rest of these pictures are just a collection of the other pictures we took while at the fair this year and I feel they best capture our experience and the special moments we shared with Jude and eachother as a family:
We stayed at the fair into the evening and it was definately past Jude's bedtime, but despite that, he remained in a great mood and seemed to really enjoy himself while taking in all of the lights and action the fair has to offer. This last picture is how Jude looked upon arriving home after such a long, fun, eventful day:
