Halfway There!

I am 20 weeks pregnant with Baby Walker #2 - Our precious little girl!  So far I feel great.  This pregnancy has been different than my pregnancy with Jude, but it's fun to do comparison photos. 

This first picture is me today, 20 weeks pregnant with Baby #2:

We've recently been working on getting ready for our baby girl to arrive.  So far we've bought a second crib (Jude will only be 18 months old when his sister arrives- we're hoping to keep Jude in a crib for another year or so after she arrives and then we'll work on a transition with him) and a new stroller that can be used as either a single stroller or a double.  We'll be transitioning Jude out of the nursery and into his new "big boy" room and Baby Girl will then use the nursery.  Our nursery is decorated with The Very Hungry Caterpillar theme and Jude's new room will be a Nascar theme.  Once we're done getting things ready, I'll do a post with pictures of their rooms.  I plan to enjoy these last few months as a family of 3 and fully appreciate this time I have with my Jude.  Here's to a happy and healthy 20 more weeks!

Pool Party!

We were invited to a pool party today and we all had a really good time enjoying each other and other's company.  This is Jude hanging out in his new stroller ready to swim!

Jude is a little fish and loves playing in the water.  Here we are as a family in the pool.

I think Jude's favorite part of the day was splashing around the pool with his Daddy and being thrown up in the air and caught.  I love watching the special relationship that my husband and our son have.  I never want to forget the smiles they share together.  After the pool party, we followed up with a cook out and learned a few more new foods that Jude was happy to eat:  asparagus and black olives!!  He is definitely his mother's son!!!

Meet the Walkers!

This is our first family blog!  Our family currently consists of Ian, Ashley, and Jude Walker.  We're a family of 3 with a 4th on the way.  Jude is 13 months old and just a real joy to have in our lives.  He is a very laid back and content baby.  We found out today that Baby Walker #2 is a GIRL and we couldn't be more thrilled!  The purpose of this blog is to share our memories and tell the story of "us"!
