Grandpa Bostick

This past Friday was a very sad day, as our beloved Grandpa Bostick (Ian's grandpa/Jude's great grandpa) passed away at the age of 89.  We loved and will always cherish the memories of our weekly visits with Grandpa.  Ian and I feel very blessed that he was able to not only meet but really enjoy visits with our first born.  Grandpa Bostick was a Methodist minister and performed our wedding ceremony in November 2008.
Joe Bostick was a devoted family man who had a wonderful sense of humor and entertained others with his stories.  Grandpa loved his visits with Jude and Jude always seemed equally excited to play with Grandpa and show him whatever new skill he had learned that week.  Below are some pictures of Jude and his Great Grandpa Bostick:

We will truly miss our Grandpa Bostick and will always think of him with fond memories.  I'll end this post with the last two verses of a poem that is very special to me:
Let Me Go
(Author Unknown)
There may be times you miss me,
I sort of hope you do,
But smile when you think of me,
For I'll be waiting for you.

Now there's many things for you to do,
And lots of ways to grow,
So get busy, be happy, and live your life,
Miss me, but let me go.
